Dr. Nyal Borges is an interventional cardiologist at Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute of Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the medical director of Interventional Cardiology for the Greater Charlotte Region. He serves as the Interventional Director for the VTE Center of Excellence at Atrium Health. He is a full-time interventional cardiologist with expertise in CHIP/CTO, pulmonary thrombectomy and management of cardiogenic shock with mechanical support devices. He is involved as the PI for numerous clinical trials in the PCI and MCS space.
