Dr. Francesca Maria Di Muro is an Interventional Cardiologist at Salerno University Hospital (Salerno, Italy). Her clinical activity focuses on the percutaneous treatment of coronary and structural heart disease, including complex PCI in both elective and emergency settings, as well as TAVI, LAAO, and PFO closure. She developed advanced expertise in intracoronary imaging and coronary physiology during her training under the mentorship of Professor Carlo Di Mario. Dr. Di Muro completed a Research Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York, USA) under Professor Roxana Mehran and maintains active international research collaborations. She is currently a PhD candidate in Translational Medicine, holds a Master’s degree in Biostatistics, and is the author of approximately 50 peer-reviewed publications, with research interests in residual risk and sex differences in CVD.
