Dr. Robert W. Yeh is the Director of the Richard A. and Susan F. Smith Center for Outcomes Research, Section Chief of Interventional Cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the Katz Silver Family Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on developing and applying innovative methods to understand the effects of cardiovascular interventions and policies on individual and population health. He has led several multicenter pivotal trials evaluating cardiovascular devices that have supported US FDA approval, as well as real-world studies to support FDA and CMS post-approval and coverage requirements. He is a standing member of the FDA’s Circulatory Devices Advisory Panel. Clinically, he specializes in complex coronary intervention and use of percutaneous mechanical circulatory support devices.
