Megha Prasad, MD, MS, is an interventional cardiologist and the Director of the Cardiorenal Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California and a Master's in Clinical Research and Translational Science from Mayo Clinic Rochester.Dr. Prasad completed her internal medicine and cardiology training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and her interventional cardiology training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City. She further honed her skills with advanced training in Complex and High-Risk Percutaneous Coronary Interventions and Mechanical Circulatory Support at Columbia.As an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Dr. Prasad focuses on coronary physiology and imaging, particularly in patient with chronic kidney disease.
