Michael A. Gaglia, Jr., MD, MSc, FACC, FSCAI is an interventional cardiologist and medical director for the limb preservation program at the Adventist Heart and Vascular Institute in St. Helena, CA. His clinical and research interests include percutaneous treatment of pulmonary embolism, chronic limb threatening ischemia, socioeconomic disparities in peripheral vascular disease, and antiplatelet therapy for acute coronary syndromes. He has previously served as faculty at the University of Southern California and the University of New Mexico, and has also practiced with the Cardiovascular Institute of the South in New Orleans, LA. He has published over 70 peer reviewed journal articles and has also served as editor for the textbook Antiplatelet Therapy in Cardiovascular Disease.
