Dr. Ioannis Andreou is a Consultant Cardiologist in Hemodynamic and Interventional Cardiology Unit of Sismanoglio Hospital, Athens, Greece. He has been trained in Hippokratio Hospital, University of Athens, Greece (Fellowship and PhD), Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, US (Post Doc Fellowship), and Hospital Clinic, Barcelona, Spain (Interventional Cardiology Fellowship). His main research interest is mechanisms of atherosclerosis and stent failure, and intracoronary imaging. He has published a series of studies in this area.
