Dr. Rao is a board-certified vascular surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery and Radiology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He treats the full spectrum of vascular surgery disease with a focus on complex peripheral vascular disease interventions and aortic aneurysms and dissections. Dr. Rao is the Director of Surgical Simulation and Vascular Surgery Research. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and travels extensively to present his research and clinical cases at many regional, national, and international meetings. He is also participates and leads several clinical trials at Mount Sinai Hospital.
