Dr. Abhishek is a graduate of the Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu, Nepal and has done his internal medicine residency at PGIMER, India and cardiology fellowship at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. He worked as an attending consultant in Kathmandu for a couple of years before joining the Libin Cardiovascular Institute in Calgary as an interventional cardiology fellow. He is also a co- founder and vice president of Open Access Nepal, which works on universal access to knowledge and research in Nepal.
