Hiroshi Tsunamoto, MD, PhD, is an International Research Scholar at the Valve Science Center, Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. He completed his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship and PhD at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan, where he subsequently completed his Interventional Cardiology fellowship and Advanced Echocardiography training. He is a board-certified TAVR instructor and M-TEER echo proctor in Japan, specializing in both procedural techniques and imaging guidance for structural heart interventions. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented his work at major cardiology conferences worldwide. His main research interests include transcatheter mitral edge-to-edge repair outcomes and the role of advanced echocardiography in guiding structural heart disease interventions.
