Nazli Okumus, MD

Dr. Nazli Okumus is a structural/interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida. Her main clinical and research interest is in structural heart, cardiogenic shock and venous thromboembolism interventions.
Dr. Okumus is actively engaged in national leadership and advocacy, serving on the SCAI Political Action Committee, contributing to the ACC Editorial Fellowship Advocacy section, and participating in the ACC NCDR CathPCI Research & Publications Subcommittee. She is also a member of the SCAI WIN Committee.
She serves as a Social Media Editor for Circulation and is the Chair of the CardioNerds Interventional Cardiology Committee. Dr. Okumus has served as a peer reviewer for multiple cardiovascular journals and is recognized as faculty at national conferences, including ACC, THT, SCAI, and the NYU CCC Symposium.
