Dr. Elizabeth “Libby” Sherwin, MD, FHRS, is a Pediatric Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Children’s National Hospital and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University. This DC born, Virginia native attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (MCV), then completed training in Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, and Electrophysiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. She worked in Vancouver, Canada, before joining Children’s National in 2016. She is the Medical Director of Electrophysiology and practices clinical and interventional EP with special interests in arrhythmia treatment and ablation, pacemakers and defibrillators, and leads the Cardiogenetics Inherited Arrhythmia clinic for sudden death and inherited arrhythmia evaluations and treatment.
