Dr. Peter Fail joined the CIS in 1996. Dr. Fail is the co-director of the structural heart program at Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) in Houma and works closely alongside area cardiovascular surgeons as part of a comprehensive “heart team” to perform interventional procedures for structural defects and complex aortic disorders. Additionally, Dr. Fail has served as the principle investigator and sub-investigator for numerous research trials piloting cutting-edge, innovative research devices to treat a multitude of conditions in the structural arena.
Dr. Fail was named to the Best Doctors in America® List for 2015-2016, showing his expertise in providing exceptional, patient care. Only five percent of doctors in America earn this prestigious honor.
