Dr. Parasuram Melarcode Krishnamoorthy is the Associate Director of Structural Heart Program and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Heart, Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute. He is an interventional cardiologist with specialized clinical focus in percutaneous coronary interventions and structural heart disease interventions, particularly transcatheter aortic valve therapy and percutaneous mitral valve repair. His research interest is in population epidemiology and outcomes research to improve quality of care. He has published several studies in this area. His current focus is on utilizing digital technology to improve outcomes in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock.
