Dr Stéphane Rinfret is an interventional cardiologist and world-renowned expert in CTO PCI. After a 20-year carreer in Canada, and 3 years at Emory from 2021-2023, he is currently Director of Complex Coronary Intervention at the Georgia Heart Institute. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed articles and has been invited over 300 times to give lectures in the past 10 years. He is a high-volume coronary operator, with procedures performed predominantly in high-risk patients turned down for CABG or with complex post-CABG coronary anatomy. He is the founder and co-director of MLCTO, the largest CTO-dedicated course in Europe, and Editor of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Chronic Total Occlusion; the Hybrid Approach, 2nd Edition published by Springer Nature. Dr Rinfret serves as faculty in several cardiology meetings, and pursues very active clinical, research, proctoring and teaching career.
