Dr. Reardon attended Baylor College of Medicine graduating with honors and AOA. He completed a 5 year general surgery residency under Dr. Michael DeBakey in the Baylor Affiliated Hospitals and a 2 year cardiothoracic residency under Dr. Denton Cooley at the Texas Heart Institute. He has spent his entire career at The Methodist Hospital serving in numerous administrative positions. He was the first chief of cardiothoracic surgery at Baylor after the retorement of of Michael DeBakey and the first chief of cardiac surgery at the Houston Methodist Hospital.He has over 1,000 publications and has made over 1,000 national and international invited presentations. His research and clinical interests include surgical and transcatheter structural heart disease as well as cardaic tumors. He has served as the national PI or study chair of 12 trials. He has been married for 49 years, has two daughetrs and four grandchildren.
