Dr. Srihari S. Naidu is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Cath Labs and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program at Westchester Medical Center. He is Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College.
He is the current President of SCAI.
His main interests include HCM and alcohol septal ablation, the treatment of cardiogenic shock, and prevention of stroke with PFO closure. He is a Past Trustee of SCAI, Founder of SCAI ELM, and Trustee Emeritus of Brown University. He previously served on the ACC Board of Governors, and is on the NY State Cardiac Advisory Committee.
He is an author on the HCM and Stable Ischemic Heart Disease guidelines and Chaired the SCAI SHOCK Classification in 2019 and 2022. He is Editor of the textbook on HCM, now in 3rd edition, and recently published a Best Selling children's book on HCM that was featured on NBC News.
