Associate Professor, Interventional Cardiology
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
Los Angeles, California, United States
I am an interventional cardiologist at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute, Los Angeles. I completed my medical school training in New Delhi, India and graduated in 2007. I have been involved in academic research as well as clinical medicine since graduating from medical school. My areas of clinical and research interest include transcatheter aortic valve replacement, cardiac stem cell therapy, transcatheter mitral valve repair and replacement as well as complex high risk percutaneous coronary intervention. I am the site principal investigator for the ILUMIEN TRIAL, which is a multicenter multi-national clinical trial evaluating the routine use of intracoronary imaging with optical computed tomography for percutaneous coronary intervention, compared with routine angiography guided percutaneous coronary intervention in patients undergoing high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention.
