Ori Waksman, MD is an interventional cardiology fellow at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital. He completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at MedStar/Georgetown and a dedicated clinical and research fellowship in lipids and metabolism at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His academic interests focus on dyslipidemia, coronary microvascular dysfunction, inflammation, and advanced coronary physiology and imaging, including OCT and IVUS. Dr. Waksman has authored peer-reviewed publications in JACC, EuroIntervention, and related journals, with work spanning coronary microvascular disease, lipid-mediated residual risk, and cardiovascular complications of COVID-19. He has presented his research at national meetings including CRT and lectures on lipid management and cardiovascular prevention.
