Lior is an Interventional Cardiologist and Structural Cardiology Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his Interventional Cardiology training at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He has advanced training across the spectrum of structural heart interventions, including transcatheter aortic and pulmonic valve replacement; mitral and tricuspid repair and replacement; leaflet modification; alternative access; adult congenital interventions; alcohol septal ablation; peripheral and pulmonary interventions; and thrombus and vegetation aspiration. He has authored and co-authored 65 peer-reviewed publications and served as a primary investigator in an industry-sponsored study. His academic interests include structural heart disease, adult congenital and complex coronary interventions, and cardiovascular innovation.
