Jason Weidman, Medtronic Senior Vice President, was appointed President of the Coronary & Renal Denervation operating unit in November 2020, returning to the business where he started his Medtronic career. Jason leads the strategic direction and execution for the approximately $1.6B, high-growth operating unit, focused on improving the health of patients with coronary artery disease and uncontrolled hypertension. Over his twenty year Medtronic tenure he has been instrumental in leading the team to a market-leading position and to charting a path forward for Renal Denervation, a transformational hypertension therapy.
Jason has a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
