Dr. Maria Delgado-Lelievre, MD, is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Founder and Director of the University of Miami Comprehensive Hypertension Center, the first center in Florida certified by the American Heart Association. She serves as Clinical Program Director of the Hypertension Fellowship, training physicians in hypertension specialization. Within the AHA, she is Treasurer of the National Hispanic Latino Cardiovascular Collaborative and a member of the AHA Quality Health Care Certification Science Committee. Her work focuses on hypertension, cardiovascular prevention, physician training, and innovation in blood pressure monitoring and personalized cardiovascular care.
