Dr. Alexander G. Truesdell is an Interventional Cardiologist with Virginia Heart/Inova Schar Heart and Vascular and Founder/CEO of Truesdell Medical Advisory. He completed residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and fellowship training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a current/former member of multiple American College of Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians, and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions committees and leadership councils. His clinical and research interests/activities include complex and high-risk coronary interventions, coronary chronic total occlusions, cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support, multi-disciplinary team-based systems of care, pre-hospital emergency cardiovascular care, and critical care cardiology.
