Dr. Seth Martin is a Professor in the Division of Cardiology at Johns Hopkins University SOM. He is a core faculty member at the Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of CVD, directing the Lipids Program and the Digital Health Lab. He is the Firm Faculty Leader for the Barker Firm of the Osler Medicine Residency. Dr. Martin led the development of an improved LDL cholesterol algorithm that has been clinically adopted at scale around the world in professional guidelines and practice. Dr. Martin is also a co-founder of the Corrie Health Digital Platform, which has been developed to re-engineer the patient and clinician experience to promote guideline-directed cardiovascular care. He was selected as an individual who personifies Johns Hopkins Medicine’s mission to improve the health of the community and the world by setting the standard of excellence in medical education, research and clinical care.
