Dr. Lichaa is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine and faculty member in the cardiology fellowship program of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Nashville Tennessee. He practices interventional cardiology and endovascular interventions at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford and West, in Murfreesboro and Nashville Tennessee, where he recently received the 2023 Clinical Excellence Award by his physician peers.

Dr Lichaa has special interest in complex coronary interventions, chronic limb threatening ischemia and deep venous interventions.

Dr Lichaa currently serves as the vice chairman of the interventional cardiology council at Ascension Saint Thomas Heart. He also recently chaired the Practice Task Force Committee of SVM. He currently serves on the SCAI vascular council and American College of Cardiology Tennessee council.
