Jay Giri, MD MPH is an Interventional Cardiologist, Chief of Interventional Cardiology & Director of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratories, and Director of the Penn Cardiovascular Outcomes, Quality, & Evaluative Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical interests include complex coronary artery intervention, venous thromboembolism, endovascular denervation therapies, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement. He performs clinical outcomes research related to emerging endovascular technologies and interventional pharmacotherapies as well as health policy research related to cardiovascular medicine. He also leads several large, multi-center clinical trials of novel endovascular therapies.
