Dr. Larry J. Díaz-Sandoval is an Interventional Cardiologist at Metro Health – University of Michigan Health in Grand Rapids, MI. He is a Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and the Chair of Cardiovascular Research, Director of Endovascular Research & Interventions, and Director of the Vascular & Endovascular Medicine Fellowship Program. Completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Tufts University School of Medicine and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. In 2010 he trained in complex peripheral interventions at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids. He is an active Fellow of SCAI, ACC, AHA, and SVM. He is the author of more than 100 publications and is considered a Key Opinion Leader in Critical Limb Ischemia. His main research interest are disruptive approaches to diagnose and treat CLI, as well as innovative technologies /devices.
