System Director, Women's Heart Health

Rachel M. Bond, MD, FACC, is a board-certified preventive cardiologist and national authority on women’s heart health. She serves as System Director of Women’s Heart Health at Dignity Health Arizona and Assistant Professor at Creighton University. Dr. Bond holds elite leadership roles with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), shaping national policy on maternal and cardiovascular health.
A dedicated advocate for advancing women in medicine, she serves on the American College of Cardiology Women in Cardiology Section Leadership Council and chairs the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the ACC Arizona Chapter. Her work focuses on health equity and the professional development of women and minorities in health sciences. A national spokesperson for the AHA’s "Go Red for Women" campaign, she was named one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona in 2022.
