Prof Andrew Sharp is Senior Medical Director in the ICVT division of Boston Scientific.

Prof Sharp was awarded his research degree from the University of Edinburgh for his work on the hypertensive heart and has extensive research and clinical experience in the areas of device-based treatments for hypertension, catheter treatment of pulmonary embolism, PCI, valvular heart disease, intracoronary imaging and coronary physiology. He joined Boston Scientific in November 2025 and his principle focus there is currently in the area of renal denervation for the treatment of hypertension.
