Prof. Ramzi Khamis is the WuFmaily Nedowed Chair of Cardiology and consultant interventional cardiologist aat Imperial College London. He holds a joint academic appointment as Professor of Cardiology at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He is also the clinical lead for the high risk atherosclerosis and cardio immune clinic at Imperial.

His main interests are identification of the rupture prone plaque using near infra-red( NIRF) moelcular imaging, as well as identifiying patients at risk using novel assays. His work straddeles transaltional interventional cardiology. He also developped remote monitoring ptorcotls for high risk patients and PI on both the TELE-ACS and TELE-TAVI studies.
