Dr. Ricardo A. Costa is an Interventional Cardiologist at Institute Dante Pazzanese of Cardiology (IDPC) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, were he serves as Percutaneous Intervention Research’s Medical Section Head. He is the current President of the Latin American Society for Interventional Cardiology (SOLACI). He is also a Post-Graduate Professor and PhD Advisor at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) - USP/IDPC program, with over 20 years of experience in the field and main research interest in complex PCI, imaging and physiology evaluation of coronary artery disease, new devices (DCB, dedicated stents, MCS), ACS and antithrombotic therapy. He has conducted several studies in this area and has participated in many clinical trials.
