Dr. Shikhar Agarwal specializes in treating coronary, valvular and structural heart disease in adults. Dr. Agarwal completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and structural intervention at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Agarwal currently serves in the capacity of System Chief of Structural Heart Disease across the Geisinger Health system. Under his leadership, he has grown the program and improved outcomes for those under his care. He helped lead the construction of a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room, one of the largest of its kind in the country. Dr. Agarwal has been honored for early-career success by being recognized among the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s (PAMED) Top Physicians Under 40. In addition to performing a variety of complex cardiac procedures, Dr. Agarwal is dedicated to expanding cardiac care to people in rural areas of Pennsylvania.
