Angel Eduardo Caldera, MD, is a Venezuelan-American interventional cardiologist who serves in leadership roles at Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas, including membership on the Board of Medical Directors and as Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship training program. He is deeply committed to medical education, with training that spans the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Baylor College of Medicine, and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Caldera completed Internal Medicine residency in both Venezuela and the United States, serving as Chief Resident in each, and later as Chief Fellow during his Cardiology Fellowship. His career reflects a strong dedication to clinical excellence, leadership, and the education of future physicians. His clinical and research interests include transcatheter aortic valve interventions, peripheral endovascular procedures & coronary interventions.
