Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School
CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts, United States
I am the Program Director for the Interventional Caridology Fellowship Program at the Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medicla School. My clinical and research interests converge at the junction of interventional and critical care cardiology.I recently earned an AHA grant through which I am investigating mechanisms to provide more timely care for patients with cardiogenic shock. Additional areas of focus include: mitigating complications in cardiogenic shock, optimizing risk stratification in older adults, and exploring the impact of shock teams. I aim to conduct observational investigations that inform the design of clinical trials for critically ill patients. Additionally, I secured grant funding for a single center study: ERGO-CATH. In ERGO-CATH we quantified the ergonomic strain on cath lab operators wearing traditional lead versus a novel radiation safety device (RAMPART inc).
