Dr. J. Dawn Abbott is a Professor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Associate Chief of Faculty Development and Academic Advancement, and Director of Interventional Cardiology at the Brown University Health Cardiovascular Institute and the Cardiac Catheterizaiton Laboratories at Rhode Island and Miriam Hospitals. Her research interests span coronary, endovascular and structural heart disease. She is the principal investigator at Rhode Island Hospital for several multicenter investigator initiated and industry funded trials. She serves as Deputy Editor for Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions and is on the editorial board of several cardiovascular journals.
