Dr. Deepak Talreja is Clinical Chief of Cardiology for Sentara Health. He serves as medical director of the cardivovascular service line. He is one of the founders of the Structural Heart Program at Sentara Norfolk General Hopsital and the medical director cardiac catheterization laboratory at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. He serves on the faculty of Eastern Virginia Medical School (associate professor) and routinely participates in medical research and lectures throughout the region. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and preventative cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Talreja concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of structural heart and valve disease and complex coronary artery disease.
