Dr. Nassir F. Marrouche is a globally recognized electrophysiologist and pioneer in atrial fibrillation treatment. He is Professor of Medicine at Tulane University, Vice Chair of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Deming Department of Medicine, and Director of both the Tulane Heart and Vascular Institute and TRIAD research lab. He leads cross-disciplinary teams advancing prediction, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular disease, with a focus on digital health solutions. Trained at leading institutions including Heidelberg, Cleveland Clinic, Harvard, UCSF, and the University of Washington, he is a Fellow of the ACC and HRS. Dr. Marrouche has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as NEJM, Circulation, and JAMA.
