Dr. Peter A. Soukas is the Director of Vascular Medicine and the Interventional PV laboratory at The Miriam Hospital & RI Hospitals in Providence, RI. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He is also the founder and Director of the Brown Vascular and Endovascular Medicine fellowship program.
Dr. Soukas’ clinical research interests include carotid stenting, intravascular lithotripsy, femoropopliteal stent grafts, and the interventional treatment of arterial and venous peripheral vascular disease. He's been a site principal investigator on over 170 clinical trials, including 27 carotid trials, and was the global PI for the RELINE MAX study. He's delivered over 300 invited national and international presentations with dozens of peer reviewed publications. He received the Raymon Riley Teaching Award and the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
