Dr. Pinto graduated from Dartmouth College and Georgetown Medical School. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School did all of his clinical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He has served as the cardiology fellowship director, CCU direct and most recently the chief of the interventional cardiology section. He is active in device development involved in trial design and having performed first in human studies for novel mechanical support devices. He recently took a position as Chief Medical Officer for a trancatheter heart valve company, JenaValve. He continues to perform complex coronary, peripheral and structural heart procedures.
