John M. Lasala, M.D., Ph.D., MSCAI, is Professor of Medicine, former cath lab Director and Director of the Structural Heart Disease Program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Lasala received his PHD in biochemistry from St. Louis University, medical degree from the University of Connecticut and residency at Barnes Hospital/ Washington University and Cardiology and Interventional cardiology training at Yale University.
Dr. Lasala has written over 300 abstracts, reviews and articles for numerous journals and lectured internationally on Interventional Cardiology. Individual honors Outstanding Cardiology Alumnus Award from Yale University School of Medicine , American Heart Association Hugh McCulloch Award, Lifetime Achievement award from University of Miami School of Medicine and the ARCH Foundation Distinguished Intervential Cardiologist.
