Dr Pooja Swamy is an interventional cardiologist in Miami. Her clinical interests are complex and high risk coronary interventions, cardiogenic shock and assessment of coronary microvascular disease. Dr. Swamy trained in internal medicine at Geisinger Medical Center, PA and Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She completed her cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Loma Linda University Health, CA and interventional cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford St.John Medical Center in MI. While practicing as an academic interventional cardiologist in southern California, she successfully conducted clincial trials and was awarded the SCAI's "30 in their 30s" in 2024. She currently practices in Miami, FL as a private practice interventional cardiologist and continues her endevors in building a cardiogenic shock program to improve care for patients with cardiogenic shock.
