Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Hayder Hashim is an assistant professor of cardiology at Georgetown University and a full-time faculty in the division of interventional cardiology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
He has published his research in several peer reviewed journals and often gives presentations about his work at national and international meetings. He is particularly interested in coronary intravascular imaging, coronary physiology and coronary artery plaque modification.
Dr. Hashim completed a residency program in internal medicine and cardiology fellowship at Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School. He then completed his intevrentional cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.
