Anastasios Apostolos, MD, MSc, is a Junior Clinical Fellow in Cardiology in Department of Cardiology, Harefield Hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, UK and PhD Student at the First Department of Cardiology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Hippokration General Hospital.
He earned his MD from the University of Patras and an MSc in Interventional Cardiology with Honors. His research focuses on vascular access, antithrombotic treatment, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), and PFO closure. He has authored over 110 PubMed-indexed publications in renowned journals, including BMJ, European Heart Journal, JACC, and Circulation. Actively engaged in the global cardiology community, he participates in major conferences such as ESC Congress, ACC Congress, AHA Scientific Sessions, TCT, EuroPCR, and PCR London Valves.
