Jean-Michel Paradis is an attending interventional cardiologist at Quebec Heart and Lung Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Laval University. Dr Paradis received a medical degree from the University of Montreal. After his residency in adult cardiology at the University of Montreal, he fullfilled a fellowship in structural heart disease interventions at Columbia University Medical Center in New-York. In 2013, he also obtained a certificate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Dr Paradis’ s research interests are in transcatheter aortic valve implantation, transcatheter mitral valve therapies and the development of novel cardiovascular technologies. Dr Paradis has more than 200 peer-reviewed publications.
