Daniele Massera is the Associate Director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program at NYU Langone Health and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He obtained his medical degree at the Medical University of Vienna and trained in internal medicine and cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he also obtained a master’s degree in clinical research methods. His clinical focus is to provide the highest quality of care to patients with HCM and their families, to improve symptoms and quality of life, and to utilize cardiac imaging to personalize treatment decisions. His research focuses on epidemiology, diagnosis and management of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and valve disease.
