Andrew J.P. Klein, M.D., FACC, FSVM, FSCAI, earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from Drexel. He completed internal medicine residency at UCSF, fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Univ. of Colorado Health Sciences, and another in clinical research at the Univ. of Wisconsin.
Dr. Klein is an interventional cardiologist with vascular and endovascular specialties at Piedmont Hospital Atlanta and has been in practice for 15 years. He is a currently is on the SCAI Board of Trustees. He is very active in the arena of pulmonary embolism and served on the Board of Trustees for the PERT consortium. He is actively engaged in numerous clinical trials involving pulmonary embolism and peripheral arterial disease. He is very active in addressing the racial, gender-based and socioeconomic disparities of care the impact all of our patients.
